About Our Farm:

Together We Bloom was Born from Love

It all started in early 2021 when we were planning our wedding during the pandemic.

There was a small, natural field behind our family home. One day, as I looked out at this field, I envisioned planting flowers there and ‘growing’ our own wedding venue.

We got married that August; at sunset, underneath the full moon, in our flower patch that we had spent the entire season tending to. This flower patch is where we nurtured the earth, our souls, and each other. It was sacred. We wed surrounded by these flowers and our loved ones.

As we exchanged vows, we vowed to practice unconditional love for ourselves, for each other, and to show up in the world and our community with love. We also vowed to always have a garden.

Meet Your Farmers

Hi, I am Farmer Taylor (pictured right, she/her) I am the owner and full-time farmer behind Together We Bloom. While I act as the primary face of the farm, there are many other people who make it all possible. I was born here in Ogden but grew up in Davis County surrounded by farmland (dreaming of having my own farm one day.) I went on to attend the University of Utah where I received a degree in international relations (and a yoga teaching certification.) I spent my early twenties traveling the world full-time working as a travel writer and pursuing opportunities in farming, food, and hospitality. In 2020, covid put an abrupt stop to traveling. My life completely changed. However, everything that once felt like a luxury to a traveler; a dog, a garden, a stable romantic relationship, became the best parts of my life. I am honored to have this opportunity to pursue Together We Bloom. I am also passionate about sustainability, enjoy exploring spirituality, I love heartfelt conversations, and cooking/baking is my preferred love language.

Farmer Jesse (pictured left, he/him) Is my spouse, my co-farmer, and he does a lot of work behind the scenes at Together We Bloom. He is also originally from Ogden (while we didn’t meet until 2019, our family members were once neighbors, talk about fate!) Jesse works full-time in marketing and as a realtor to help support us as the farm establishes. You can come and say hi to him at many of the farmer’s markets.

Farmer Shannon: (not pictured, she/her) Is my mom and an enormous part of Together We Bloom. She works at the Ogden School District as the district elementary librarian and has the summers off to help at the farm. Every harvest shift she comes to help, she has transplanted thousands of baby plants, and quickly hand weeds rows of flowers like nobody’s business.

And You: We are so grateful to the other friends, family members, and community members who have contributed their time, money, energy, and support; you are all a part of this farm in so many ways

A Small Farm with BIG Dreams

Together We Bloom is our act of love for the community.

We farm with our core principles in mind and we donate 5% of our flower sales to local nonprofits.

With all of the expenses and infrastructure required to establish the farm, it is not yet financially sustainable. Our primary goal for Together We Bloom is to build a long-term business that can provide sustainably grown food and flowers AND build meaningful connections in the community for years to come.

Together We Bloom is a community-supported farm. Everything we do is for the direct benefit of our community and is funded by the purchases and support of community members.

There are many ways that you can support our farm, if you are in the position to donate towards our small farm, every little bit makes an enormous impact on our ability to continue farming.

Thank you (so much) for supporting our small farm with BIG dreams and investing into our communtiy.
